LAB SESSIONS
6.	Introduction to Cytoscape & NetworkX, Computing simple graph-theoretic properties
7.	Modeling Random Graphs, Implementation of Watts and Strogatz Model
8.	Modeling scale-free networks
9.	Analysis of PPIN with available empirically data
10.	Modeling protein structure as a graph; Modeling a simple brain network (C. elegans)

Note:

Lectures are open to all research scholars, students and faculty of PU; Computational/Biological/ Chemistry knowledge is desirable. Interested candidates can register online at www.bicpu.edu.in. Faculty members, Research Scholars and students from other departments are requested to register online by February 16, 2018 (Friday). Maximum number of vacancies is 60 out of which 40 are reserved for applicants from the Center for Bioinformatics. Selected participants will be intimated through e-mail. An assessment test will be conducted at the end of the short-course. Successful candidates will be given a certificate.
